Robert E. Larios received his Bachelor of Music degree at Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Mr. Larios came to Harlingen High School in the fall of 2001, following an appointment as the Director of Percussion for the J.W. Nixon High School Band cluster in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Larios has had award winning drumlines and concert percussion ensembles that have been recognized throughout South Texas. At Harlingen High School Mr. Larios is the Director of Percussion and teaches beginner percussion classes at Vernon, Memorial, and Gutierrez Middle Schools. Mr. Larios is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and the Percussive Arts Society. He and his wife, Amanda, have two wonderful children Sarah and Thomas.
